My favorite part of teaching, is learning! While most of my students interests tend to converge into film or games, they all have unique styles, personalities, and individual milestones they seek to overcome. To help them achieve their goals, it helps me to understand their unique perspective through a series of smaller exercises, and to get an understanding of the media that drives them. As a student, I struggled in that my teachers wanted to lead me aside from the styles I found most interesting. As a teacher, I've made it a point that my goal is not to indoctrinate my taste unto others. My students are lovely human beings who have entire worlds in their heads just waiting to be unleashed. My goal is to notice any spots where students feel a lack of confidence, and to help them take those areas in stride.
